Uzbekistan and Czech Republic Sign Labour Migration Deal – Medical, Industrial & Automotive Sectors Targeted

PRAGUE/TASHKENT — July 20, 2026 — Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance cooperation in structured labour migration, covering the training and employment of Uzbek citizens in Czech medical and social welfare institutions, as well as recruitment for industrial and automotive sectors .
The agreement was signed during a working visit by a delegation from Uzbekistan's Migration Agency, led by Director Bekhzod Musayev, to Prague .

Implementation of the healthcare employment programme is scheduled to begin in September 2026 .
Industrial and Automotive Sectors
Meetings were held with executives of leading Czech companies, including MONTO, s.r.o. , to discuss the recruitment of qualified specialists from Uzbekistan for Czech industrial enterprises, primarily within the automotive sector .
