Non-BOI (Board of Investment) employers filing work permit applications through the E-Work Permit system can now receive a Temporary Work Permit immediately upon approval, allowing foreign employees to commence work without waiting for the physical work permit booklet.

The temporary permit serves as valid proof of work authorization and is also recognized for completing government-related procedures, including obtaining a Tax Identification Number (TIN) and registering with the Social Security Office.
