The decision, announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Tourism Committee, allows eligible foreign nationals to enter Armenia without a visa and stay for up to 180 days within a one-year period.

The extension applies to citizens of 111 specified countries who hold a valid residence permit (physical card or sticker with at least 6 months validity) issued by one of the following:

Schengen Area countries
United Arab Emirates

State of Qatar
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
State of Kuwait
