Why German Industry Is Doubling Down on African Talent
Participating companies view Afrika Kommt! as a strategic investment:
Access to high-potential African leaders who understand both African markets and German corporate culture
Building long-term partnerships and supply-chain resilience in Africa
Addressing Germany’s skilled-worker shortage while fostering pan-African economic ties
Creating a powerful alumni network — more than 200 fellows from previous cohorts now hold senior positions across Africa
Many fellows return to launch startups, lead major projects, or take C-suite roles — often maintaining strong ties with their German host companies.
